Nanominex emerged as a solution to one of the key challenges of cryptocurrency mining: high energy consumption and environmental impact. Inspired by the idea of making mining accessible to everyone, the platform’s founders, former engineers in the renewable energy sector, decided to create a platform that unites people around shared values of sustainability and decentralization.

The idea was born in 2018 when our team faced the growing inaccessibility of mining due to high equipment and electricity costs. We began experimenting with renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind farms, to create autonomous mining nodes. After a successful prototype in 2019, the team secured funding from private investors and founded Nanominex.

Today, Nanominex is an international platform that allows users to participate in eco-friendly mining without the need to purchase expensive equipment. The platform utilizes a distributed model where users can rent the power of data centers operating on “green” energy.
